He’ll be out for a bit. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in wrestling and some of them can be rather serious. On the September 18 Monday Night Raw, Erik of the Viking Raiders was announced as not being cleared to compete. Erik has announced that he has underwent neck surgery to fuse his C6 and C7 vertebrae. While he did not say when the surgery took place, Erik did mention that it took place in Birmingham, Alabama. There is no word on when he will be able to return to the ring.

Erik is a talented star and he’s on a good team. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: That is something you never want to see as Erik is likely going to be out of action for a long time. Erik is someone who has shown that he can do some rather good things in the ring and hopefully he and Ivar can have a nice reunion when he can return to wrestling. For now though, it is good to see that he is getting healed up as the biggest problem has already been solved.

What do you think of Erik/ What should he do when he returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
