VIDEO: WWE Superstar Announces She Is Out Of Action Due To Unique Health Issue

That’s a rare one. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to be out of action, some of which are a lot more serious than others. Occasionally you will see wrestlers have some kind of a health issue which prevents them from being able to get in the ring. The issues can be all over the place and now we know what is wrong with another missing WWE Superstar.

WWE Superstar Raquel Rodriguez has announced that she has been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which resulted in her being pulled from the WWE Holiday Tour last week. There is no word on when Rodriguez could return to the ring. She last wrestled on December 3, 2023. The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology describes the condition as:

“a condition in which the patient experiences repeated episodes of the symptoms of anaphylaxis – allergic symptoms such as hives, swelling, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing and severe diarrhea. High levels of mast cell mediators are released during those episodes.”

Opinion: That’s a terrible thing to hear and hopefully Rodriguez is able to get back in the ring sooner than later. It would be terrible to have the condition make her lie that much worse, though now what matters is getting her back to full health. While she is rather good in the ring, this is much more important than anything else and what matters is getting her the help that she needs.
