That’s serious. Wrestlers have rather difficult jobs which can be made even more complicated when injuries are factored in. You never know when you are going to see a wrestler get hurt and put on the injured list for a long time. That is in addition to the regular health issues which can happen to anyone. Now unfortunately a wrestler might be out of action for a long time as a result of such an issue.

Last month, it was reported that AEW star Killswitch had developed pneumonia in both lungs which was keeping him out of action. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while Killswitch is out of the hospital, he is still on regular oxygen at home. He will not be able to travel for 4-6 weeks and will need to see a specialist as he is believed to be at a high risk of a relapse of the disease. There is no word on when Killswitch will be able to return to the ring, or even train in the gym, again.

Opinion: That is absolutely horrible as there are few situations worse than someone being sick over something they didn’t cause. It seems that his health is at least doing better than it was before, though he has a long way to go. Hopefully he is able to get back to normal sooner rather than later, but this is the kind of thing that is going to take time, as it is worth the wait.
