He’s ready. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestling promotion to bring a wrestler back from an injury, though picking which way to go can be complicated. Wrestlers can be ready to come back but there might be a reason for the promotion to let them wait a bit longer. That appears to be the case again, as a recently healed up wrestler is still waiting to make their return.

According to PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson on his Hotline show by way of Wrestlingnews.co, AJ Styles is ready to return to WWE TV and is merely waiting on WWE to come up with creative plans for him. Styles has been rumored to be ready to return to television for the last three weeks but he has not made an appearance. Styles was last ween on WWE television in September, when he was attacked by the Bloodline.

Opinion: This is one of those things that continues to surprise me, as you would think that WWE would have had a plan for someone of Styles’ caliber ready to go. That being said, I can also get the idea of WWE wanting to avoid Styles being overshadowed by Randy Orton and CM Punk, both of whom made their returns within the last few weeks. Styles is more than good enough to hang on his own, but now we have to wait for him to have something to do.
