IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Roster Cuts Coming Soon, Details
Last week on AEW Dynamite, Khan officially announced that Collision would be debuting on June 17, along with upcoming dates for several episodes. However, he did not announce the location for the debut episode, which he promised for this week. This week, Khan announced that the show will debut at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. This comes after speculation that should the show be anywhere else, CM Punk may not be making his rumored debut.
AEW has been there before. Check out their time in Chicago over the years:
Opinion: In case there was any doubt that Punk was going to be there in the first place, this should probably seal it. If nothing else, it’s hard to imagine that AEW is stupid enough to go to Chicago with this many rumors swirling without having Punk in their back pocket. That was the case a year and a half ago with the First Dance and it should be the case again here.
