There’s a benefit. We are less than three days away from WWE’s Night Of Champions event in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. While the majority of the show will be built around championship matches, there will be some matches which are about personal issues. While that is the case at this point, there can be some ramifications down the line and that might be where WWE is focusing.

One of the featured matches at Night Of Champions will see Cody Rhodes face Brock Lesnar in a rematch from Backlash, where Rhodes won their first encounter. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that should Lesnar win, it would help build him up as a viable contender for a title, especially if Rhodes wins a World Championship in the near future. There is no word on if or when Rhodes might win such a title. Night Of Champions takes place at 1pm EST on May 27.

Opinion: This is something that makes sense given both of their statuses, but the question becomes just how long such a story might go. A Lesnar win would even the series between the two, but would a third match take place before or after one of them won a championship? Lesnar is going to be a contender no matter what he does and Rhodes will be right there as well. Hopefully they have a good match this weekend, as the future is bright for both of them.
How do you see the match going? What is next for both of them? Let us know in the comments below.
