Last month at Double Or Nothing, Konosuke Takeshita turned on the Elite and joined Don Callis, becoming a part of his new family. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, while Takeshita is one of the biggest heels in the company at the moment, the long term plan is for Takeshita to be one of the top babyfaces. AEW sees Takeshita as a top star and wants to turn him down the road, as they believe he could be one of the top babyfaces in the company.

Opinion: This makes a lot of sense as Takeshita does seem to have all of the potential in the world. The fans have responded to Takeshita since he debuted and it would be easy to see him getting such a spot once the fans are ready to accept him again. It might take a long time to get there, but that is the kind of story that should make Takeshita into that much bigger of a star.
