FULL VIDEO: CM Punk Returns To Monday Night Raw, WrestleMania 40 Role Officially Set

He’s still around. There are certain wrestlers who are more known for what they say rather than what they do in the ring. That can make for some interesting circumstances as you never know what you might hear them say, which can often be out of nowhere. Such an ability also helps when a wrestler is injured and that is the case again with a prominent WWE Superstar. He was back this week though and had a lot to say.

CM Punk, still recovering from tricep surgery, made a scheduled appearance this week on Monday Night Raw, which took place in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. During his appearance, Punk spoke about how he would be at WrestleMania before being interrupted by Drew McIntyre. The two argued back and forth, with Punk asking him to get in the ring and say things to his face. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins joined them and all three argued. Eventually Punk agreed to do commentary on Rollins’ match with McIntyre at WrestleMania. Rollins went on to attack McIntyre to end the segment.

Opinion: This is the kind of segment that you do not get to see very often but it was worth the wait. Punk is one of the best talkers in wrestling history and it is great to see him getting to showcase those talents. While Punk has several months to go before he gets back in the ring, WWE is doing a great job of setting him up for whatever they have planned for him going forward.
