You have to start somewhere. There are all kinds of thins that have to come together to make a wrestler a star and a good debut is one of the most important. If someone gets off to a good start, it gives them a leg up on whatever else they might be doing later. That seems to be the case again, as a recently signed WWE star made her in-ring debut on a pretty unique show.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: AEW Vacates Titles, Title Match Officially Announced

According to Cagematch.net, Stephanie Vaquer made her in-ring debut for WWE over the weekend at a live event in Mexico City, defeating Isla Dawn. There is nothing to indicate that Vaquer used a different name for the match. This was Vaquer’s first appearance for WWE, after her signing was announced earlier this week. There is no word on when she will debut on WWE TV.

It was a big deal. Check out the full match, plus more from Vaquer:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that had to happen one way or another and it seems that Vaquer is off to a good start. She made a nice debut in front of a crowd that will likely be more familiar with her, which should bode well for the future. If nothing else, there is a lot of hype around here and WWE may very well try to take advantage of that, which is not a bad idea at all.

What do you think of Vaquer’s debut? How would you bring her to WWE TV? Let us know in the comments below.
