It’s done. We are in an interesting time for AEW, as the company is starting to expand into some new areas. This includes going to some fresh markets, some of which are not even in the United States. That is what they are going to be doing this weekend with their first ever event in Australia, but that makes things a bit more complicated back home. AEW has figured out a solution to the issue though.

AEW has taped this week’s edition of Dynamite in advance as the company is heading to Australia for its Grand Slam event this weekend. Here are the results, including a pair of title matches, courtesy of PWInsider.com:
* Hangman Page def. Max Caster
* AEW Trios Championship Match: Death Riders def. Undisputed Kingdom. The Death Riders continued the assault until Daniel Garcia and 2point0 made the save.
* Hangman Page interrupted an MJF backstage promo and MJF insulted Page, saying he went insane and lost his friends because he didn’t get an apology.
* Samoa Joe, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata def. Jon Cruz, Aaron Solo & Grillo. Joe issued a challenge to The Patriarchy.
* Chris Jericho called out Bandido, which led to a standoff until Bryan Keith and Big Bill attacked. Powerhouse Hobbs made the save for Bandido.
* Cope and Jay White stole Jon Moxley’s briefcase.
* MJF def. Dustin Rhodes. MJF attacked post-match and Hangman Page made the save. Page and MJF brawled after.
* Prince Nana told Swerve Strickland in a segment to focus on the AEW World Title, but Strickland said he needed to deal with Ricochet.
* Megan Bayne def. Maya World
* Kris Statlander def. Penelope Ford. Bayne attacked Statlander post-match.
* Marina Shafir attacked Willow Nightingale backstage. Jon Moxley said that White and Cope are dead for stealing the briefcase.

The show will air as scheduled tonight at 8pm on TBS. Grand Slam will be broadcast this Saturday night in the place of Collision on TNT.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that has to happen every so often and it makes for an easier situation. AEW will still air the show in full and it doesn’t make much of a difference if it is taped in advance. The card is stacked enough to draw in some interest and that is what matters most. We should be in for a big show this week, which is o the way to the really big show this weekend.
