In the can. There are several major wrestling events taking place every single week and most of them are aired on national television. Things taking place on those shows are often the most important things in the wrestling world that week and often fans don’t know what is coming. That will not be the case this weekend, as we know what to expect on one of the bigger shows.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Hoss Fight? Gunther Discusses Possible Match With Brock Lesnar
AEW taped this weekend’s Collision in advance on Thursday night, with the show being filmed at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The show will air on May 18 along with Rampage as part of a three hour block of AEW. Here are the results, courtesy of PWInsider.com:
* Will Ospreay def. Shane Taylor with Roderick Strong and The Undisputed Kingdom at ringside. The group attacked Ospreay after the match but he laid out Bennett and Taven and escaped.
* Bryan Danielson & FTR def. Lance Archer and The Righteous. The Righteous attacked and Dax with a chair after the bout, with Archer hit Blackout on a chair on Wheeler before Danielson and Daniel Garcia made the save.
* Orange Cassidy def. Isiah Kassidy. Trent Beretta was ringside and after the match he challenged Cassidy to a ‘wrestling match’ at Double or Nothing. There was a brief brawl between them.
* Hook def. Johnny TV
* Katsuyori Shibata def. Rocky Romero
* Bryan Keith def. Beefcake Boulder
* A segment took place where Jay White and The Gunns had a beaten PAC on the stage.
* Nick Wayne def. Jack Cartwheel
There is also the chance that more could be added to the show in pre-taped backstage segments.

Opinion: This is a show where the matches should carry things, but with Double Or Nothing less than two weeks away, it might be time to start doing something more to build towards the show. The biggest thing is getting more eyes on the pay per view and while some of these matches will help tie into it, there are some that feel a bit random, even with so little time left before Double Or Nothing.
