Two for the price of one. All week long WWE has been releasing TLC matches on their official YouTube page for free. Today’s offering is from “Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2009” and features D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) challenging Jeri-Show (Chris Jericho and Big Show) for the Unified Tag Team Titles.

Over the years, most of the TLC matches have been singles matches but the first four had all been tag matches. This would be the first tag match in over seven years with the most recent tag version taking place all the way back in 2002. It’s also the first and to date only time in history that two and only two teams have competed in the match.

This was another fun match with D-Generation X finally getting the Tag Team Titles that had eluded their partnership for so long. It main evented the show and it’s really hard to argue that being the case, especially with the match being named after the show. Jeri-Show was an underrated tag team and this was pretty easily the high point of their run, though it was also just about the end for them.
