Do it again? Tag teams have a weird history in WWE as the company has not exactly treated them as a top priority. There have been times when the division feels completely worthless, but there have also been instances where the tag team scene is flourishing. Next year, we might be seeing one of those popular WWE teams making a comeback outside of the company.
Former WWE star Scotty 2 Hotty has posted a photo to Twitter, showing himself reuniting with Rikishi. The tweet said “Ready for 2022”, which could suggest a reunion between the two for next year. The team are former WWE Tag Tag Team Champions under the name Too Cool. AEW’s Cash Wheeler responded to the tweet, saying that FTR will roll up to Too Cool as well. Hotty was released from his WWE contract earlier this year as per his request.
So, this happened today! Ready for 2022.

These teams could make for an interesting match. Check out their times in the ring:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that could work rather well under the right circumstances. There is no guarantee that Too Cool will be getting back in the ring together but they are the kind of team who could make for some good nostalgia. AEW has done well with nostalgia teams before, so maybe they can do it again here. It isn’t like the fans would be silent when Too Cool showed up, so why not take a shot?
What do you think of the idea? How would the match go? Let us know in the comments below.
