They’re back! After a one off appearance back in August, the Headbangers are claiming via their Twitter accounts that they’re coming back to “Smackdown Live” this coming week for a Survivor Series tag team qualifying match. The Headbangers had announced their initial appearance on their Twitter accounts so there’s reason to believe them.

The Smackdown tag team division only has a handful of teams in the first place so it’s not surprising that another team is being brought in for qualifying matches. The Survivor Series team will be comprised of five teams, which doesn’t exactly work when you have a six to seven team division in the first place.

This is one of the only things “Smackdown Live” can do as we’re coming up on “Survivor Series 2016”. You could even put the Headbangers on the team over someone like Breezango, assuming they’re even a team anymore. There are worse options than some former champions who looked perfectly fine in their first match on WWE TV in over fifteen years.

Would you like the Headbangers to have a long run in WWE? Who should they face and lose to/defeat? Let us know in the comments below.
