That’s amazing. There are all kinds of things that can happen to a wrestler that you rarely see happen to anyone else. It is a very unique business, but there are also problems that can happen to anyone at any time. Unfortunately those can be incredibly serious and it can take a lot of effort to get them out of trouble. That was the case again for a former WWE Superstar, but this one has a happy ending.

During a new interview with the Tampa Bay Times, former WWE Superstar Shannon Moore spoke about his addiction issues. Moore said that he struggled with addiction beginning in 2012, as he had time and money and began to party. Eventually, Moore and his wife divorced, which he now blames on his addiction. At the time, Moore blamed his ex-wife for everything and planned to kill her before either killing himself or going to prison.
However, before he did so, he contacted Road Dogg, a WWE official, who helped him get into a rehab facility, with WWE paying all of the costs. Moore is now a counselor at a rehab facility and continues his wrestling career, but says that he hopes to use his platform to help more people. WWE has a regular policy of offering free rehab to any former wrestler who feels they need it.
That’s a great story. Check out some of Moore’s WWE career:
Opinion: This is an awesome story and a great example of how WWE can help people. Consider what very well would have happened if this wasn’t an option. Moore’s life, as well as his ex-wife’s, may have been saved by WWE allowing Moore to go to rehab on them. It’s a heck of a happy ending rather than what could have been an absolute tragedy for everyone involved.
