Umm….huh? Trent Barreta is one half of the Roppongi Vice tag team with Rocky Romero and used to wrestle for WWE. While never a top star, he had a bit of a following in WWE and even scored a win over Tyson Kidd on an episode of “NXT”. However, he doesn’t seem happy about something WWE did: pay him a royalty check.

Barreta recently posted an image of a royalty check he was sent earlier this year for $73.89. He goes on to say that he hopes the WWE guys have found their happiness in money. It’s not clear what he’s complaining about or what the royalty check is for, though it could be due to something that appeared on a DVD or video game.

I’m really not sure I get what Barreta’s issues are here. He hasn’t wrestled in WWE for over four years now and he’s still getting a royalty check for something. I’m sure the bigger stars get bigger amounts and it would probably help if he had worked there since 2013. The statement doesn’t even make a lot of sense. Wrestlers are bad if they receive royalty checks? How does that even make sense?
