That’s a big honor. There have been all kinds of wrestlers in the WWE’s history and some of them are memorable for one reason or another. On occasion this is not the best thing in the world, as some wrestlers are going to be more infamous than famous. That may not wind up being the worst thing though, as one of the more infamous stars in WWE history is getting quite the honor.
WWE has a history of pushing larger than life giants over the years. The more famous of these would be Andre the Giant, as he was just so much bigger than anyone else around. While Andre might be the most famous, he is not the biggest man in the history of WWE. Andre was the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, but he is not going to be the only giant inducted.
The WWE India Instagram account has announced that the Great Khali will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2021. Khali made his WWE debut in 2006 and won the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007. After leaving the company in 2014, Khali has made a few appearances, including at Battleground 2017 and as part of the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018.
Khali had some big moments in the company. Check out the Hall of Fame announcement and what he has done in WWE:
Opinion: This is one of those things that it would have been hard to imagine at one point but honestly, it is not the worst idea in the world. Khali is someone who did things exactly as he should have because he wrestled like a true giant. It worked well enough and while he might not have been the most technically sound star in the world, he wasn’t supposed to be and that is ok.
