Welcome back. We are less than a week away from the Royal Rumble and that means WWE has a lot of work to do. This includes setting up thirty men and thirty women for the show’s namesake matches. That can be be a rather difficult trick to pull off and it often includes bringing in some names who have not been around in a bit. While not confirmed, there is a chance that a missing WWE star might be around.

According to PWInsider.com, Rey Mysterio is expected to be at the Royal Rumble, though it is not clear if he will be appearing on the show or taking part in the Royal Rumble match. There is the chance that Mysterio will simply be visiting at the show. Mysterio has been out of action after suffering a knee injury in December following an attack at the hands of Santos Escobar.
Mysterio has done the Rumble before. Check out his time at the show before:
Opinion: Mysterio would be a nice surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble and there aren’t many better options for a comeback. He’s been out of action for a long time so having him either come back here or cost Escobar in some way could work well. Mysterio is still a big name in WWE and the fans would certainly react to having him around, so this has the potential to be a big deal. Assuming it happens that is.
What do you think of the idea? How should Mysterio be brought back to WWE TV? Let us know in the comments below.
