A familiar new name. Over the years, Impact Wrestling has often been seen as something of a feeder system to WWE. At the same time, Impact Wrestling has had an outstanding women’s division over the years and it would make sense to have WWE want some of their female talent.

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, former Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne has been seen at the WWE Performance Center. There is no word on Rayne potentially signing with the company though WWE seems to be interested in adding her to the roster at some point in the future.

Opinion: I could go for this as Rayne was one of the more consistent talents in the Knockouts division. If you put the WWE machine behind her, she could be a fine hand in the NXT women’s division. She wouldn’t be the top star or anything but she could be a solid supporting player, which is quite the important role for someone like her to fill. Rayne has just enough name value to be worth something in WWE and hopefully she’s around.
