More former champions are a good idea. Another name from the Cruiserweight Classic will be returning to the WWE in the coming months. According to 411mania.com, Tajiri has posted on Twitter (in Japanese of course) that he will be wrapping up his commitments in Japan and returning to WWE this coming spring.

Tajiri wrestled in WWE from 2001 to 2005 before returning to Japan full time. During his run with the company, Tajiri won the Cruiserweight Title and shared the World Tag Team Titles will William Regal. He would return to the WWE for the Cruiserweight Classic earlier this summer and defeated Damien Slater in the first round before being eliminated by Gran Metalik.

I’m fine with this as Tajiri is probably my favorite ECW wrestler ever. There’s something to be said about someone who isn’t going to vary his offense that much but does his main thing very well. Tajiri can throw some very hard kicks and while that’s most of his offense, he does it well enough to make the style work.

Are you glad Tajiri is coming back to WWE? Who would you rather have back instead? Let us know in the comments below.
