The hunt continues. It’s a new year in TNA and it just so happens to be under new ownership. This often means some fresh talent appearing on the show, which is exactly what happened this week on “Impact Wrestling”. In this case, it was the return of a former multiple time Tag Team Champion who showed up at the end of the show to help out his longtime partner.

During a triple threat match for the TNA World Title, Davey Richards made his return from a severe knee injury to help champion Eddie Edwards retain his title.

Richards has been out since last January with a torn ACL and hasn’t been seen on TNA TV in nearly a year. There is no word on when he’ll be returning to action or if it will lead to a Wolves reunion with Edwards. This return isn’t a huge surprise as Richards’ wife Angelina Love is rumored to be making a return to the company as well.

Uh, great. I’ve never been a fan of Richards and the idea of watching him feud with Edwards again makes my head hurt quite a bit. Their feud over the Ring of Honor World Title is still one of the least interesting things I’ve ever seen in wrestling and actually made me stop watching the weekly TV show. “Impact Wrestling” isn’t exactly my favorite thing in the world at the moment and seeing them feud again could push me over the edge.

Are you glad Richards is back? Would you like to see him team with Edwards or feud with him for the title? Let us know in the comments below.
