Welcome back. AEW has had quite the large amount of wrestlers coming through its doors over the years, with different names from around the world. The variety has allowed for some different combinations and the showcasing of different stars that you might not have ever seen before. Now one of the stars who left is likely to be back in the company rather soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Konosuke Takeshita will be returning to AEW “in a couple of weeks”. This comes after Takeshita returned to Japan following an excursion to AEW earlier this year. AEW always had plans for him to return though it was not clear when he would. Takeshita has faced several AEW names during his time with the company, including challenging Claudio Castagnoli for the Ring Of Honor World Title.

Opinion: This is some great news as Takeshita came in to AEW and made an immediate impact while having one entertaining match after another. While the roster is already rather big and deep, there are only so many places for him go fit in AEW. The good thing is that Takeshita has showcased himself rather well and should be just fine when he gets back after a short trip away.

What do you think of Takeshita? What do you want him to do when he gets back to AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
