According to Fightful Select, New Japan Pro Wrestling is interested in working with Tom Pestock, formerly known as Baron Corbin during his time in WWE. Pestock is officially a free agent as his contract with WWE expired rather than being released. The two sides have reportedly been in contact, but there is no word on how far those talks have advanced. Pestock has not wrestled since leaving WWE.

Pestock is quite god. Check out what he did in WWE:

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as Pestock is a talented star. He is someone who can be put into almost any spot and do well and I’d be curious to see how he would do outside of the WWE environment. He’s a bigger, stronger guy with experience in the ring and that could make for some interesting options if he is given a chance to work in New Japan.

What do you think of the idea? How would he do in New Japan? Let us know in the comments below.
