That’s a lot of people. We are just a few days away from the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE is pushing it as a major event. One of the major focuses is on the show’s nostalgic nature and that includes bringing in a variety of names for the show. There are already a few names announced and now it seems that WWE is interested in bringing in even more past stars.

According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, WWE has booked Ted DiBiase, Tito Santana, Jimmy Hart, Greg Valentine and Koko B. Ware for appearances on the show. It is not clear how they will be appearing, as it could just be shots of them sitting in the crowd. The only other legend confirmed for the show thus far is Jesse Ventura, who will be doing commentary.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes a show feel special and fits in with the theme of everything that WWE is wanting to do with the event. Saturday Night’s Main Event is all about the nostalgia and flashing back to the old days, so having these people around for some special appearances is all the better. That’s a good way to go and WWE seems to be getting the idea behind the whole thing.
