Remember that one? There are all kinds of wrestling shows that air every week, some of which have gone on for a very long time. It can be a big deal when one of those shows is taken off the air, but it is even rarer when one of them makes a return. The latter is set to happen, though it is not clear exactly how all of this is going to work given the current circumstances.

According to 411mania.com, images appearing on Twitter show that TNA Xplosion is returning, with matches being taped at this weekend’s Impact Wrestling tapings. The show features extra matches from the tapings and aired from 2002-2021. It was replaced by Before The Impact, though it is not clear if the latter will continue with Xplosion returning. There is no word on where the show will air.

The show has history. Check out some previous editions:

Opinion: This is the kind of change that goes with the whole rebranding back to TNA. I’m curious to see how it all works out, as there are several things that could come out of the change. So far we are getting the return of a longstanding show and it isn’t like Before The Impact was exactly red hot television. TNA has a long way to go, and I get the idea of sticking with something that has been around for such a long time.

What do you think of the return? How should TNA use the show? Let us know in the comments below.
