I give this zero stars. An interesting story that came out a few weeks ago saw Five Star Wrestling, a promotion out of the UK, announce that they were offering CM Punk a million dollars to wrestle in an upcoming 128 man tournament, which would be held over several months. However, something seems to have changed.

The tournament has been postponed to February with an explanation of security after the Manchester bombings on May 22. However, according to F4WOnline.com, it is believed that there are other reasons for the postponement, including the company just trying to rip people off. Several wrestlers have taken to Twitter to complain about the issue.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised. The company’s promoter doesn’t have the best reputation in the world and that $1 million offer to Punk felt much more like a publicity stunt than anything that was ever going to be considered (not exactly shocking). I feel bad for the wrestlers who signed up for this and won’t be getting their pay day now but unfortunately that’s one of the major hazards of the wrestling business.
