Up First: WWE Announces New Show Match For Crown Jewel

A good start. We are less than five days away from Crown Jewel, WWE’s latest major event in Saudi Arabia. The show will feature most of the biggest stars in WWE but there are still some spots left on the show to be filled in. At the same time, there are still some other stars who could be added in for different roles. Now two more names are added to the card, but in a unique spot.

This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that JD McDonagh will face Sami Zayn during the Crown Jewel Kickoff show. This comes after Zayn said that he would be fighting against the Judgment Day, though McDonagh is only an associate of the team rather than a full member. The match will be the first WWE Kickoff Show match on a main roster event this year.

Opinion: It makes sense for WWE to set this match up as the two of them are part of one of the biggest stories going on with Monday Night Raw at the moment. The road seems to be heading towards Zayn and company vs. Judgment Day and McDonagh net month at Survivor Series. We should be in for a nice way to get the show going, as that is the point of a Kickoff Show match.
