That’s a new one. It can be a big deal when a new title is introduced as there is suddenly a new prize for the wrestlers to win. That can open up a variety of doors and the question becomes how the first champion will be crowned. That is going to be the case again in WWE, but it seems that there are some more details that need to be worked out in addition to the first champion.

On SmackDown, WWE introduced the Women’s United States Title, with the first champion set to be crowned. According to Fightful Select, the roster did not know about the title until the day of the show. In addition, it is not clear if Monday Night Raw will be getting its own version of the title. There is also no word on how the first champion will be crowned, though, some in WWE believed it will take place in December or January.

Opinion: This is one of the interesting things going on in WWE at the moment as they could go in a variety of directions to crown a first champion. If nothing else, the idea of a survival match of some kind at Survivor Series would make sense. Either way, we could be in for an interesting choice as the WWE women’s division has the depth to make something like this go well.
