That’s a start. There are several different stars throughout the wrestling world and occasionally they will go somewhere specific to get their start in the industry. Sometimes these are stars who have a bright future elsewhere but need some more time or seasoning in another promotion. That is what we saw this weekend, as a star got their chance to get in the ring in a new place.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Back: Backstage Details On Shinsuke Nakamura’s WWE Return

Earlier this week on NXT, Pro Wrestling Noah’s Yoshiki Inamura debuted in a backstage segment with Josh Briggs. As seen on Twitter, Inamura and Briggs teamed together at a live event in Tampa, Florida, unsuccessfully challenging Axiom and Nathan Frazier for the NXT Tag Team Titles. This was Inamura’s first match for NXT, where he is on excursion. There is no word on when he will make his televised in-ring debut for NXT.

He’s quite good. Check out Inamura in the ring:

Opinion: This is something that might not seem to be much at first but it could wind up going somewhere in the longer run. Inamura is a heck of a star and someone who could become a star for NXT for the time he is around. WWE getting to bring in some stars from outside of their bubble is a different way for the company to go and it makes for an interesting change of pace.

What do you think of Inamura? How will he do in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
