This could mean something for WWE. Finn Balor appeared at ICW’s (Insane Championship Wrestling out of Scotland) “Fear and Loathing IX” event in Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday, interfering in a match for control of the company. Balor hit Drew Galloway with a pipe to win the match for Team Dallas, who won control of the company. He was replacing special guest enforcer Mick Foley, who had to be at “Survivor Series 2016”. Balor was a regular in ICW before coming to WWE.

This is an upgrade for Balor, who was last seen in WWE vacating the Universal Title due to an injury sustained in August. Balor’s time for return was scheduled for four to six months, which would put him back in action in December 2016 at the earliest. In the clip from the show, Balor can be seen swinging a pipe but not taking any offense.

With news like this, it’s hard to imagine Balor not being back soon enough. If the shoulder is healing up, there’s a strong chance he could be back in time for the Royal Rumble and, barring any setbacks of course, “Wrestlemania XXXIII”. He’s already got the built in title match as he never lost the belt and he could certainly hit the ground running.

Do you think Balor will be back in time for the Royal Rumble? What should he do upon returning? Let us know in the comments below.
