He’s gone? There are a lot of people on the WWE payroll, including several who appear on camera but do not wrestle for the company. According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Matt Camp was released from WWE last week, though it is not clear why he was let go. Camp’s release is said to be considered shocking backstage in WWE. WWE has not issued any statement and there is no word on why Camp left the company. Camp has been a host of the Bump, WWE’s weekly YouTube series, since 2019.

Camp has been around WWE for a bit. Check out some of his time in the company:

Opinion: This is one of those releases that seems like it might have something more involved. Camp is someone who has been around for a few years and unless there was something that happened without it making the news, letting him go would be a bit odd. He seemed talented at what he did, so there is a good chance that he will be able to get another job elsewhere in short time.
