Two down. There are all kinds of wrestlers up and down the WWE roster, to the point where they have been divided into three unique groups. One of these is the official developmental territory of NXT, where wrestlers can stay for a good while before being promoted to the main roster. For some reason, two wrestlers have decided that they are ready to go and have gotten their wish.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: BREAKING: Endeavor Officially Confirms WWE Purchase, Vince McMahon’s New Job

According to F4WOnline.com, the Dyad have requested and been granted their releases from WWE. The team, comprised of Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid, have been wrestling in NXT as part of the Schism. They are former NXT UK Tag Team Champions, where they wrestled as the Grizzled Young Veterans. There is no word on why the request was made. Normally NXT releases carry 30 day no compete clauses. Their final match in WWE was on the NXT Stand & Deliver Kickoff Show.

Opinion: This is kind of a shame as the team always had the talent but was never given the chance to do their thing. The Veterans did well in NXT UK, but they were never really allowed to show what they could do in NXT. After losing over and over, they were turned into something completely different to be the enforcers for Joe Gacy in Schism. How is that supposed to work?

What do you think of the team? Where do you want them to go? Let us know in the comments below.
