She wasn’t waiting. Wrestling promotions can plan things out as much in advance as they want to but there will always be something that can change their ideas. Occasionally a problem will come up and change everything that is set up in advance. This can include an injury, which seems to have taken place as recent WWE plans have been postponed, saved for one match.

In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 39, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler had been dominant as a tag team. However, Rousey has only wrestled one match since February due to an arm injury, as the team won a four way match at WrestleMania 39. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a plan for the team to go after the Women’s Tag Team Titles has been put on hold due to Rousey’s injury. Rousey insisted on working WrestleMania due to the show being the biggest show of the year in Los Angeles. There is no word on when Rousey will return to the ring.

Rousey and Baszler have been monsters together. Check out what they have done:

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as there was no reason for Rousey and Baszler to disappear outside of some sort of a major obstacle like an injury. Rousey’s arm needing to heal up is a good enough reason to leave the team on the sidelines, though it does make their WrestleMania win feel a bit strange. It should be fun to have them back, though it could be a bit before that takes place.

What do you think of the team? How will they do when they are healthy again? Let us know in the comments below.
