The bread for the wrestling sandwich. Tuesday night is a lot different version of WWE television than its Monday night counterpart. While Monday Night Raw features three straight hours, SmackDown Live is only two hours with 205 Live following the big show. There is a bonus though, with a dark match taking place both before and after the two shows.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, there was another pair of dark matches surrounding this week’s SmackDown Live and 205 Live. Before the show went on the air, Ali defeated Buddy Murphy. While Ali has appeared on and off on SmackDown Live over the last few months, Murphy has yet to have a match on the show. After the shows were over, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston successfully defended the title against Dolph Ziggler. Kingston will defend the title against Ziggler in a cage match at Stomping Grounds.

Opinion: These aren’t exactly inspiring matches but to be fair, there are only so many things that can be done on a show like this. I’m not sure why WWE is having people wrestle twice in a night, but it’s an even bigger problem when you consider how many stars they have on their roster who just never get any TV time. You have these people on your roster so why not use them for something?
