They have a plan. AEW has been around for a little over five years and that means the company has undergone some changes in its history. This includes adjustments to the way they present their television shows, all the way down to where the shows are held. Things are set to change again in the upcoming year, as the shows are going to be downsized in a certain way.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, AEW is planning to hold Dynamite and Collision in some smaller venues starting in the new year. The changes come as AEW is set to downsize its set and lighting rig, which will allow the shows to be held in smaller locations. It is believed that this will save the company money, as they will have less to transport and less to spend renting venues.

Opinion: This is a change that AEW has needed to make for a long time now, as the hows have not exactly been drawing full houses. Having a smaller venue close to full is much better than having a bigger venue closer to empty, which thankfully seems to be taking place. At the end of the day, AEW needs to make some adjustments and this is one of the more important ones possible.
