That’s a long time. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in wrestling and unfortunately some of them can keep wrestlers on the injured list for a good while. You might see a wrestler get hurt at any given time and occasionally the result can be devastating. That is what has taken place again as a WWE Superstar is going to be out of action for several months.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: For The Gold: World Heavyweight Title Match Set For Next Week’s Monday Night Raw
This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that Ilja Dragunov has suffered a torn ACL and will be out of action for 6-9 months. The injury took place during a match against Gunther during a live event in Columbus, Georgia on Saturday night, with some clips of the match being shown on the broadcast. Dragunov will be out of action until spring or summer of next year.

Opinion: There is nothing good about something like this and hopefully Dragunov is back in the ring a lot sooner rather than later. A torn ACL is one of the more devastating injuries that a wrestler can sustain and now there is nothing to do but wait. What matters the most is getting Dragunov back to full health, as it could take a long time before he gets back tow hat he was before the injury.
