I hope you didn’t write it in pen. We’re less than two weeks away from NXT’s move over to the USA Network as WWE makes another big change. The move comes two weeks before AEW debuts on TNT, which would certainly seem to be a major factor in WWE’s decision making. However, those changes were not completely set in stone and something else has already been changed.
As announced on WWE’s Twitter, the first two weeks of NXT on USA (September 18 and September 25) will be airing on two different platforms. The first hour of the show (8pm EST) will air on the USA Network and the second (9pm EST) will air on the WWE Network as usual. There have been two matches announced for the show, though it is not clear when they will air
On Sept. 18 & 25, the first hour of #WWENXT will air LIVE on @USA_Network and the second hour will stream live on @WWENetwork!

NXT is a big deal. Check out what they’ve been doing as of late:
Opinion: I don’t think it’s any secret that this is all about slowing down AEW, as the date for the first full two hour edition of NXT on USA certainly lines up. That being said, this isn’t the most annoying thing in the world but it does seem to be a bit annoying. Just wait for the two weeks so it doesn’t need another change. WWE has already set it up one way so why change what is already announced?
Is WWE overthinking this? Should they just have the full two hours on USA at the start? Let us know in the comments below.
