Welcome back. There are all kinds of reasons a wrestler might miss time from the ring and it can be a big deal when they are able to return. Some of those returns are surprises but on occasion you will see these moments announced in advance. This might be done in order to draw a bigger audience for an upcoming snow, and the latter seems to be the situation for later this week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Update On Injured Monday Night Raw Star
This coming Saturday, AEW will present the debut edition of Collision, its second weekly two hour series. This week on Dynamite, AEW announced that the show will feature the in-ring returns of Miro and Andrade El Idolo, the latter of whom will be facing Buddy Matthews. This will be the first AEW match for both since September 4, 2022, as Miro (creative/contract issues) and El Idolo (suspension/injury) have been out of action since All Out.
Both of them are pretty awesome. Check out the two of them plus another star making his return at Collision:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that has to be done to make the show feel that much bigger and AEW is certainly on the right track. Miro and El Idolo have been gone from the ring for a very long time now and it would be a shame to have them out of action any longer. Their returns feel like a big deal and that is what AEW is going to be wanting for Collision’s debut?
