Two more. Title matches are some of the most important parts of any card as they can make for quite the change. It can offer quite the opening for someone’s career as they can move up the ladder in a big way all at once. This is certainly the case in WWE and they have covered more than one this week, as two new title matches have been set for one of the biggest shows of the year.

Two title matches were announced for Survivor Series this week on Monday Night Raw. First, the Miz defeated Ivar, Bronson Reed and Ricochet in a fatal four way match to earn an Intercontinental Title shot against Gunther. Miz won the match by pinning Reed after he missed the Tsunami. Later in the show, Zoey Stark won a battle royal last eliminating Shayna Baszler to earn a Women’s World Title shot against Rhea Ripley. Survivor Series takes place on November 25.
It was a busy night. Check out the two title matches being set, plus how one person’s chance was taken away:
Opinion: This is the kind of night that Survivor Series needed, as it is less than three weeks away and a lot of the card has not yet been announced. Adding two title matches in the span of three hours is not bad at all and there is always the chance of a title change. Survivor Series is already shaping up and these matches had a big role in getting it to that point.
