Rapid fire growth. We are currently just over two weeks away from Clash Of Champions and a lot of the card still needs to be set up. With every title on the line, plus the King of the Ring final, there is a lot of stuff that needs to be added to the card. Some of the bigger matches have already been made but with so little time left, something needs to be set up in a hurry. Two more of those have been established.
WWE.com has announced two new matches for Clash Of Champions with a pair of titles being defended. SmackDown Tag Team Champions New Day will be defending against Revival in a match that has been set up over the last two weeks, with Revival attacking both champions. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will be defending against The Miz, who challenged Nakamura to a title match earlier this month.
The matches are ready. Check out the setups for both:
Opinion: You have to fill it in somehow. These two matches were pretty obvious for the last few weeks and this is the natural progression to add them to the card. There is a chance for a pair of title changes but also a chance of neither changing hands so we at least have a few surprises coming into the show. I’m not sure where either match is going and that’s a nice feeling to have.
