Two more. We are less than two weeks away from the return of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will be the first edition of the show in over sixteen years. This will also be the first edition of the show under Endeavor’s ownership and the company is trying to do everything they can to make the show big. That is what they did this week with some new matches being announced.

This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced two more title matches for Saturday Night’s Main Event. First, Iyo Sky will challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Title, having earned her title shot last month. Second, Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor, who requested the title match after helping Gunther defeat Damian Priest twice. Saturday Night’s Main Event is scheduled for December 14.
This should be big. Check out how the matches came together plus some classic Saturday Night’s Main Event:
Opinion: This is what the show needs, as one of the worst things about the previous incarnation of the show was that it rarely felt important. These two matches now make three title matches on the card and that is one heck of a lineup. I could go for seeing what else WWE has for the show, but hat we already have should be more than enough to make this feel special.
