They’re down. Injuries can be some of the worst things in all of wrestling as they can take someone out of action out of nowhere and put all kinds of plans on hold. Occasionally you will see promotions tie the injuries into storylines and use them to get someone else over. We now have two WWE wrestlers injured and the situations are being presented in two different ways.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: D’Oh? More On Botched Kickout During Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest At WWE Money In The Bank

This week’s Monday Night Raw saw the announcements of two injuries. First up, WWE announced that Tyler Bate was injured during his match last week on NXT, with no details on how long he will be out of action or the nature of his injury. Later, it was announced that Kofi Kingston has suffered a sprained AC joint in his shoulder following last week’s attack at the hands of the Final Testament. Kingston is expected to be out for “a number of weeks”.

It’s a big one. Check out the announcement of one injury, plus how the injuries took place:

Opinion: That is a rough one to hear as an injury is bad enough but two being announced in one match makes it even worse. Kingston’s injury seemed to be covered with the attack from the Final Testament while Bate’s seemed to come out of nowhere. Hopefully they are back in the ring sooner than later but it could be a long time before we see either of them in action.

What do you think of the situations? What is next for both of them when they return to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
