Two more. We are about two weeks away from Summerslam and that means it is time for WWE to really start hammering in the card. The company has most of the top half of the card set up but there is still a lot of work to do. The good thing is that a lot of the work has already been done and all that was left to do was finalize a few details. Those details were at least partially set this week.

Two title matches were officially set for Summerslam this week on SmackDown. First, WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes will defend the title against Solo Sikoa. This match was agreed to last week but not made official until this week. Second, LA Knight will challenge Logan Paul for the United States Title. Knight had signed the contract last week but Paul only did this week. Summerslam is set for August 3 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Opinion: Neither of these are exactly surprising but it is a great thing to see the matches actually being set up. At some point you need to get ready for the biggest show of the summer and this is the kind of move that had to be made. Summerslam was already looking good coming in and now we could be in for something even bigger, which is quite the accomplishment.
