The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw was scheduled to be Roman Reigns/Solo Sikoa vs. Brock Lesnar/Cody Rhodes. However, before the match, Lesnar turned on Rhodes and laid him out with an F5. According to Fightful Select, the turn and a feud between the two were planned for months. Lesnar was also told about his creative plans about a month before WrestleMania 39. There is no word on when Rhodes vs. Lesnar could take place.

Opinion: This is a feud that has some potential, as Rhodes needs to do something to build himself back up after the finish of WrestleMania 39. Rhodes vs. Lesnar could be quite the showdown for Rhodes, but there is a very real chance that he loses in a big way in their showdown. If nothing else though, it is nice to see that there are some things that are sticking around after being planned before the big WWE shakeup.
