Don't Cross Him: Reason For Brock Lesnar Attacking Cody Rhodes Revealed

He isn’t happy. WrestleMania 39 has come and gone and with the show over, there are several more things to deal with from the fallout. Several matches on the card have set up new issues and stories, some of which have yet to be announced or even started. Now we know one of the stories involving two people who didn’t even face each other at WrestleMania.

This week’s Monday Night Raw was set to feature Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes teaming up to face the Bloodline. However, Lesnar turned on Rhodes and laid him out to end the show. This week on SmackDown, Wade Barrett revealed that Lesnar attacked Rhodes out of anger over opening WrestleMania Night Two against Omos while Rhodes main evented the show against Roman Reigns.

Opinion: That is certainly a specific reason for such a moment and it’s something I can see Lesnar saying. If nothing else, it gives them a reason to fight other than Lesnar being angry for the sake of being angry. Lesnar is a different type of monster and seeing him getting to do something like this suits him well. Now Rhodes just needs to not get destroyed whenever they fight and this should work.
