What do you have in mind? Back in April on the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 34, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre formed a new team as McIntyre made his return to the main roster. A lot of fans weren’t exactly pleased as Ziggler became the focus of the team instead of McIntyre, who seemed destined to become a top star. Ziggler even became Intercontinental Champion, but it was clear that something was going to change. What was going to change wasn’t clear, but Ziggler has an idea in mind.

Ziggler was recently a guest on Lilian Garcia’s Chasing the Glory podcast where he discussed a variety of topics, including how he wanted the McIntyre storyline to go. While Ziggler would like the storyline to go on for a pretty long time, he wants it to end with McIntyre hitting him in the face to turn on him some time in the next year. Ziggler also pointed out that the two aren’t exactly a team, but rather two people who both want to be champion.

There’s some hope between these two.

Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre claim that today's Superstars are "soft": Raw, April 30, 2018

Opinion: I’m not sure I want to see the storyline go on that long but it’s nice to see that Ziggler knows where it needs to go. McIntyre is someone who could be a major star in the future (if not right now) and Ziggler can serve as a means to get there. A lot of fans are anxious over who gets more attention in the story and that’s always something that could become a problem. Hopefully Ziggler gets his wish here though, as it’s the right call.

Do you like Ziggler’s idea? How long should it take to get there? Let us know in the comments below.
