It’s over. There are certain things that you will see in wrestling over and over, mainly because the company’s fans are invested in what they are seeing. It can make for a big moment when something happens to such a group or team. That was the case again this week, as one of the most popular acts in all of NXT officially came to an end after a devastating loss.

The main event of this week’s NXT saw Ridge Holland defeat Andre Chase to become the new #1 contender to the NXT Title. In addition, the loss means that Chase U’s Riley Osborne, Thea Hail and Duke Hudson are officially done with the school, though it is not clear if the school will continue in some way. Chase agreed to put the team on the line in exchange for one more match with Holland.

Opinion: This was quite the surprise, as Chase U had been in trouble before but it is almost hard to believe that the team is officially done. After so much time together and having quite thee success, it seems that things are actually done unless there is some kind of major twist coming. For now though, we are having to wait and see where it goes from here, and it could be a long time before things get better for everyone.
