You have to hold it somewhere. We’re coming up on the Road to WrestleMania 36 and that means things are about to get going for the first time in a long stretch. WWE knows how to turn on the jets when they need to do so and that is what we should be getting this time around. With that being said, WWE needs to get ready for the future, which may be the case for a certain city.

I know it seems like a simple deal to announce a city for WrestleMania, but there is a lot more to it than just sending out a press conference. Instead of just saying the name of a city one day, the process actually takes a long time. These cities will spend millions of dollars trying to bring WrestleMania to their city as it is a rather lucrative event. One city in particular is interested in WrestleMania 37, though WWE has something else in mind.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Los Angeles, California is pushing hard for WrestleMania 37. The idea is to get the city ready for the Super Bowl, which is coming to Los Angeles in 2022. However, WWE would rather have WrestleMania 38 in Los Angeles so they can present a show with a higher attendance than the Super Bowl in the same stadium. There is no word on when the location of either WrestleMania will be announced.

The announcement is a big deal. Check out this year’s version:

Opinion: I’m curious to see where the show is going as you really could go either way. WWE has a tendency to throw out a different city than expected from time to time, though holding the show in Los Angeles would make sense. WWE likes to run those major cities in their new stadiums and Los Angeles would certainly qualify. Either way, it should be interesting, as the west coast WrestleManias tend to be.
