Not in the script. For the most part, what you see on a WWE event is going to be planned in advance. The wrestlers know most of what is going to happen, or at least have a good idea of it, from the beginning of the time they are on screen to the end. Every so often though, something is done that isn’t in the plan and that is often the most interesting thing you will see. That might have been the situation this week.

At Summerslam, Cody Rhodes defeated Brock Lesnar for the second time in three matches to win their feud. After the match was over, Lesnar took off his gloves and showed respect to Rhodes before leaving. WWE COO Triple H was asked about the moment during the post show press conference and said that the moment was not scripted. Lesnar is reportedly not taking a long time off from WWE and is currently advertised for Fastland in October.

Lesnar is a beast. Check out what he has been doing in recent months:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can make for a very special moment and that is what it became. Lesnar does not show respect very often so seeing him lose and then acknowledge Rhodes after the match made it a much bigger deal. You can’t do this kind of thing all the time but for a one off special moment like this one, it can make for something rather impressive.
