Well maybe he should have? There are several wrestlers on the AEW roster but some of them have not been around on a regular basis. It might be a bit before you see them again and that can create some issues, as fans will begin to wonder where they are or what is taking so long on their return. That is the situation again with a popular star and now we know something new, though it’s still confusing.

AEW’s Miro has not wrestled or appeared since World’s End on December 30, 2024. On Friday, Miro posted to Twitter, saying he has been injured since September and only got treatment for the situation in January. Miro also said that he (referencing AEW President Tony Khan in a since deleted post) was not aware of it. There is no word on when Miro is expected to return to AEW TV.

Miro is a heck of a star. Check out what he has done in AEW:

Opinion: This is one of those things that makes less sense the more you think about it. While it is possible that Miro wrestled through his injury, how in the world does the company’s president and Miro’s boss not know about it? If Miro is hurt, one would think that Khan would be notified, especially if Miro is undergoing treatment for what happened. This is the latest odd moment for Miro in AEW and I’m not sure if it’s going to get better.
